At this point of time, many of the links posted here are
targeted for primary teachers, though some of these sites contain
comprehensive sets of resources for middle school and high school teachers
too. In the future, we plan on breaking this section into 2
sections: Primary Educators and Secondary Educators. Until
then, please scroll down and take a look at what we have found because

Formerly known as Ask Jeeves for Kids, this is a fast, easy
and kid-friendly way for kids to search online. Ask for
Kids uses natural-language technology that allows kids to
ask questions and perform web searches, such as "When did
Hawaii become a state?" or even "Convert 122 inches into feet"
in the same way they would ask a parent, friend or teacher.

Compare/Contrast a Traditional Tale to a
Retelling. In this lesson, we choose a
well known story, such as Goldilocks and the Three Bears (Paul
Galdone) and a retelling such as Dusty Locks and the Three
Bears (Susan Lowell). Then, read or review the traditional
tale and follow by reading the retelling.

OCLC. If you

Here's a 2-semester outline that uses the first semester to
teach students how to use the library, the difference between
fiction and nonfiction and they learn what authors and
illustrators do. In the second semester students learn about

a free image and photo editing application that can replace MS
Paint that comes with the Windows operating system. To run it,

a great advantage over the original Paint because it gives the
user the ability to use layers.
