  1. Create a Reader.  Resources for pre-school and Kindergarten students to teach and review letters, sounds, numbers.  Includes worksheet pages for individual letters, telling time, rhyming, homophones, and more.
  2. Interactive Skills-Based Curriculum Site.  Just what the name implies, covers all subject areas.
  3. Games Just for Kindergarteners!  Wonderful selection of games, chosen just for kindergartners or other little fingers.
  4. General Kindergarten Links.  Here's some fun sites to help students with a variety of topics.
  5. Jolly Penguin's Ice Cream Matching Game. This is a simple matching game with two levels of difficulty. Print and cut out cards showing different ice cream cartons.
  6. Kindergarten Internet Links.  A table of links organized by different topics and themes.
  7. Kindergarten Links.  An graphically organized collection of links for various subjects - great site to share with kids (Internet4classroms)

Language & Reading Skills

  1. ABC Alphabet and Phonemic Awareness Practice for Kindergarten, ESL (EFL), Preschool & Special Education.  Name says it all.
  2. ABC Game.  Kids pick the object that starts with the letter shown at the top of each page.
  3. Alphabet Animals.  Great interactive site for kids to see the letters of the alphabet and an animal beginning with each letter.
  4. Alphabet Fun.  An interactive Website that checks how kids are learning their ABCs.
  5. Alphabet Zoo.  Reviews ABCs and alphabetical order with a fun, interactive game-style lesson.
  6. Bembo's Zoo.  An interactive alphabet site where you choose a letter, see the name of an animal that begins with that letter, and then the letters animate to make a picture of that animal.
  7. Book Adventure:  Find a Book.  If you're not sure what book you're looking for, we can help you find a book that's right for you.
  8. Children's Storybooks Online.  Stories for kids of all ages from young children, older children, and even young adults. 
  9. Clifford the Big Red Dog Letter Match Activity.  This interactive site teaches letters and phonics.
  10. Clifford the Big Red Dog Sound Match Activity.  A site that kids will love to use to learn phonics.
  11. Dolch Word Site.  Dolch word lists and activities pre-K through 3rd grade.  Great site for teachers and students, includes PowerPoint "flash cards."
  12. Elmo's Keyboard-O-Rama.  One of the Sesame Street interactive games - Elmo learn letters and more.
  13. Get Ready to Read:  Skill Building Activity Cards.  Downloadable word lists and pictures to ensure educators and parents have all the tools they need to use the activity cards in the classroom and at home.

  22. Phonics Interactivities:  Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten.  Some fun Websites for kids featuring memory cards, an alphabet zoo, and "word drop" game.
  23. Picture Match.  Interactive site that reviews beginning-letter sounds, short vowel sounds, and long vowel sounds.
  24. Rebus Rhymes.  From Enchanted Learning (scroll down for rhyming activity), this site is designed for children who are learning how to read. Preschoolers and Kindergartners enjoy picking out the words they can read in their favorite nursery rhymes.
  25. Reggie the Rhyming Rhino.   From scholastic - fun way to review rhymes.
  26. Stories Online.  A set of links to online story resources and online storybooks.
  27. StoryPlace:  The Children's Digital Library.  Explore the many pages were with stories and activities for young children with varying skills and needs.
  28. What's in the Bag?  Fun animated sight that uses audio speech and graphics to teach words in a fun guessing-game format.
  29. Writing Guide.  Watch Spinner, the Writing Spider, actually draw the letters of the alphabet. He's a good and tireless model to follow!

Math

  1. Beginning Addition.  This site is for beginners using most-familiar fingers as manipulatives. Audio announces numeral for reinforcement. Audio reply when numeral is selected for the answer.
  2. Beginning Subtraction .  A counting site that introduces subtraction by bringing down a number of spiders then clicking on the button to make them disappear. The number at the corner keeps track of how many are there as you add and subtract spiders!
  3. Bernstein Bears: What's Wrong with this Picture Fun site, kids pick a scene and click on the things that are wrong.
  4. Bunny Count.  Kids learn numbers, counting, and matching charagers with these interactive links that support different skill levels.
  5. Color By Number.  Use the correct color to go with the number and create a picture.
  6. ColorCount.   Click on the number of animals to match the numeral.
  7. Colors and Shapes.  An interactive site for young children, it helps children identify colors and shapes.
  8. eManipulatives.  From Houghton Mifflin, links for Counters, Coins and Bills, Connecting Cubes, Number Line, and Hundred Chart.
  9. Fractions.  A simple practice for children first learning fractions. Using fourths, this page demonstrates how the colored section is the key to the top number and the total boxes are the key to the bottom number.
  10. Fraction Match.  Match pictures with their fraction counterparts.
  11. Greater Than/ Less Than.   Whole class activity on practicing this concept.
  12. K-1 Math Links.  Here's a collection of sites that support basic math skills.

  18. Math Cats (Games May Require ShockWave).  Math Cats tries to create a series of creative, open-ended math exploration resources.  Kids will love this interactive approach.

  20. Money Count - Imagine taking your piggy bank and emptying it out on the floor.  Kids love this site.
  21. Number Game.  Students read the number word and pick the number that matches. This game has 10 questions.
  22. Paint the Shapes.  An interactive game where students listen and follow directions to paint shapes different colors.
  23. Silver Burdett Ginn Math.  On-line math activities for Kindergarten students.
  24. Sorting Pumpkins.  Here's a wonderful site for beginning mouse skill drills taht also teachers patterns, size, and colors by having students move pumpkins into groupings.
  25. Squigly's Apples.  This site reviews ordinal numbers with an interactive game.
  26. Virtual Manipulatives.  Covers all Topics (NCTM standards for grades Pre-K - 2. From the National Library of Virtual Manipulavites.
  27. Writing Numbers.  (Scroll down) - shows the strokes to write numbers. Select a number at the bottom to see an animation of the strokes to write a number.
